Indian equity market ended on a negative note with strong sell-off, the benchmark broad based Index Nifty ended the week with a loss of  4.79% i.e. -586.40 points and BSE Sensex closed the week with a loss of 4.51% i.e. -1877.66 at 39735.53.

The Nifty Index opened the week near 12200 with a gap down thereafter the strong sell-off dragged till 12024 further, the mild pull back lifted the Index till 12169.60, the stiff resistance at 12200 levels dragged the index on the budget day till 11633.30, ended the week at 11661.85. 

Nifty Bank Index also dragged down this week till 29753.00 from the weekly high 31227.05 and closed with a loss of 1.58% i.e (-1420.85) at 29820.90.
