Indian equity market ended on a positive bias, the benchmark broad based Index Nifty ended the week at 10142.15 with a gain by 5.86% i.e. 561.85 points and BSE Sensex closed the week with a gain by 5.75%.e. 1863.14 points at 34287.24. 

Nifty Index opened the week with a flat note at 9422.20, took support at this level and moved throughout the week till 10177.80 and closed the week at 10142.15 with a weekly gain by 5.86%.

Nifty Bank Index also opened the week on a negative note at 18962 and moved down till 18729.90, further it moved up till 21619.55, once again witnessed a sell-off 20316.20 and closed the week with a weekly gain by 9% i.e. 1737.25 points at 21034.50.

The Sectoral Indices were closed with a weekly gain are Nifty Realty made a huge gain by 12.16%, Nifty Metal gained by 9.04%, Nifty Auto gained by 6.59, Nifty IT gained by 4.40% and Nifty Pharma gained 3.20% and Nifty FMCG marginally gained by 0.84%.
