Indian equity market ended on a positive note with strong pull back, the benchmark broad based Index Nifty ended the week with a gain of  3.74 i.e. 436.50 points and BSE Sensex closed the week with a gain of 3.64% i.e. 1406.32 at 41141.85.

The Nifty Index opened the week near 11720 with a mild gap down at 11625 levels, made a low 11614.50, thereafter the strong pull back rally lifted the Index throughout the week till 12160, on the week closing day i.e. Friday, a mild profit booking cum sell-off  dragged down the Index till 12073.95 and ended the week at 12098.35. 

Nifty Bank Index also rallied from the weekly low i.e. 29612.55, till 31470.65, the mild sell-off dragged down on Friday till 31111.05 and closed with a gain of 4.63% i.e 13181.05 points at 31201.95.

Other major Indices were closed with a weekly gains are Nifty Metal Index gained 5.52%, Nifty MNC 3.34%,  Nifty Pharma 2.50% and Nifty IT 2.02%. The weekly losers were Nifty Realty closed at -3.25%, Nifty PSU bank index closed the week by -2.23% and Nifty Auto marginally closed by -0.27%.
