Indian equity market ended on a negative bias, the benchmark broad based Index Nifty ended the week at 9251.50 with a loss by 6.17 i.e. 608.40 points and BSE Sensex closed the week with a loss by 6.15% i.e. 2074.92 points at 31642.70. 

Nifty Index opened the week with a gap down at 9533 and moved down till 9116.50 and bounced back till 9382 and closed the week at 9251.50 with a weekly loss.

Nifty Bank Index also opened the week on a gap down near 20530 and moved down till 18941, further it moved up till 19969.90 and closed the week with a weekly loss by 10.13% i.e. 2181.60 points at 19352.90.

The Sectoral Indices were closed with a weekly loss are Nifty Realty lost by 9.48%, Nifty Auto lost by 7.69%, Nifty FMCG lost by 6.66% and Nifty IT lost by 5.00% whereas Nifty Metal gained by 5.45% and Nifty Pharma marginally gained by 0.17%.
