Indian equity market ended on a positive bias, the benchmark broad based Index Nifty ended the week at 9111.90 with a gain by 12.72% i.e. 1028.10 points and BSE Sensex closed the week with a gain by 12.93% i.e. 3568.67 points at 31159.62. 

Nifty Index opened the week with a gap up near 8446 and made a low at 8360.95 further it moved up till 9131.70 but unable to move above 9132 and closed the week at 9111.90 with a weekly gain.

Nifty Bank Index also opened the week at 18454 and made a low 17953.75 then, the strong pul back lifted till 20324 and closed the week with a weekly gain by 15.45% i.e 2664.30 points at 19913.60.

The Indices were closed with a weekly gain are Nifty Pharma gained by 25.24%, Nifty Auto gained by 19.56%, Nifty FMCG gained by 9.84%, Nifty Metal by 9.78% and Nifty IT gained 5.67%, None of the Indices were closed on a negative note.
