Indian equity market ended on a negative note, the benchmark broad based Index Nifty ended the week at 9972.90 with a loss by 1.67% i.e. 169.25 points and BSE Sensex closed the week with a loss by 1.48%.e. 506.95 points at 33780.29. 

Nifty Index opened the week with a gap up at 10326.75, made a day weekly high at 10328.50, thereafter it moved down throughout the week till 9544.35, further on Friday it made a panic bottom at 9544.35 and moved up, ended the week at 9972.90 with a marginal weekly loss by 1.67%..

Nifty Bank Index also opened the week with a gap up 21636.10, made a weekly high at 21807.40 and moved down till 19526.10, further on Friday it made a bottom till 19526.10, once again moved on the same day till 20747.10 and closed the week with a weekly loss by 1.81 i.e. 379.95 points at 20654.55.

Almost all the Sectoral Indices were closed with a weekly loss except Nifty Realty. Nifty Metal made a loss by 4.08%, Nifty IT lost by 1.54%, Nifty FMCG lost by 1.34, Nifty Auto lost by 1.05% and Nifty Pharma lost marginally by 0.98% and Nifty Realty alone closed with a weekly gain by 1.31%.
