Indian equity market ended on a negative bias, the benchmark broad based Index Nifty ended the week at 9136.85 with a loss by 1.24% i.e. 114.65 points and BSE Sensex closed the week with a loss by 1.72% i.e. 544.97 points at 31097.73. 

Nifty Index opened the week with a gap up at 9348 and moved up till 9584.50 and got sold off till 9050 and closed the week at 9136.85 with a weekly loss.

Nifty Bank Index also opened the week on a gap up near 19610.35 and moved down till 18287, further it moved up till 20122.25, once again witnessed a sell-off on Friday till 18683.65 and closed the week with a weekly loss by 2.68% i.e. 518.95 points at 18833.95.

The Sectoral Indices were closed with a weekly loss are Nifty pharma lost by 2.68%, Nifty IT lost by 1.55% and  Nifty Auto gained by 5.47%, Nifty Metal gained by 3.94%, Nifty Reality gained by 1.74% and Nifty FMCG marginally gained by 0.74%.
