Indian equity market ended on a positive bias, the benchmark broad based Index Nifty ended the week at 9266.75 with a gain by 1.70% i.e. 154.85 points and BSE Sensex closed the week with a gain by 1.38% i.e. 429.10 points at 31588.72. 

Nifty Index opened the week with a flat note near 9100 and moved down till 8821.90 but unable to move below 8800, the value buy and short covering lifted the Index till 9324 and closed the week at 9266.75 with a weekly gain.

Nifty Bank Index also opened the week on a flat note at 19855 and made a low 18703 then, the strong pull back lifted till 20866.55 and closed the week with a weekly gain by 3.86% i.e. 767.85 points at 20681.45.

The Indices were closed with a weekly gain are Nifty Pharma gained by 4.06%, Nifty Auto gained by 1.80%, Nifty FMCG gained by 0.86%, Nifty Metal by 6.51% and Nifty Realty gained 1.10%. Nifty IT Index lost by 0.62%.
