Indian equity market ended on a positive note, the benchmark broad based Index Nifty ended the week at 10244.40 with a gain by 2.72% i.e. 271.50 points and BSE Sensex closed the week with a gain by 2.82%.e. 951.445 points at 34731.73. 

Nifty Index opened the week with a flate note at 9919.35, made a day weekly low at 9726.35, thereafter it moved up till 10046.15, further a brief weakness tested once again 9728.50, further took  a support at 9726 and moved till 10272.40 on the last trading session i.e Firday and ended the week at 10244.40 with a gain by 2.72%..

Nifty Bank Index also opened the week with a gap down near 20457.5, made a weekly low at 19507.05 thereafter, it  moved up till 21467.65 on Friday and closed the week with a weekly gain by 3.31% i.e. 683.55 points at 21338.10.

Almost all the Sectoral Indices were closed with a weekly gain except Nifty FMCG. Nifty Realty made a gain by 4.06%, Nifty Metal gained by 1.60%, Nifty Auto gained by 1.14%, Nifty IT gained by 0.67%, Nifty Pharma gained by marginally by 0.19% and Nifty FMCG alone closed with a weekly loss by 1.50%.
