Indian equity market ended on a flat note with negtive bias, the benchmark broad based Index Nifty ended the week at 12080.85 with a marginal loss by 0.27% i.e. 32.60 points and BSE Sensex closed the week with a marginal loss by 0.21% i.e. 87.62 points at 41170.12. 

Nifty Index opened the week near 12131 with a flat note and moved down till 11908, it took strong support at 11908.05 thereafter, the strong pull back rally lifted the Index throughout the week till 12152 on the week closing day i.e. Thursday, a mild profit booking cum sell-off  dragged down the Index till 12070.45 and ended the week at 12080.85. 

Nifty Bank Index also opened the week near i.e. 320661 then, the weakness dragged down till 30562 further,it moved up to 31085 and closed with a marginal gain by 0.85% i.e 108.05 points at 30942.85.

Other major Indices were closed with a weekly loss are Nifty IT Index lost -0.73%, Nifty FMCG -0.64% and Nifty Pharma lost marginally by -0.17. The weekly gainers were Nifty Metal Index gained by 0.82% and Nifty PSU Banks gained by 1% and Nifty Auto Index gained marginally by 0.14%.
