Indian equity market ended on a negative bias, the benchmark broad based Index Nifty ended the week at 8745.45 with a huge loss by 12.15% i.e. 1209.75 points and BSE Sensex closed the week with a loss by 12.28% i.e. 4187.524 points at 29915.96. 

Nifty Index opened the week with a gap down near 9500 and made a weekly high at 9570 thereafter, unable to move above 9570, continued the sell everyday, on Thursday it made low near 7832.55 and till 8883, ended the week at 8745.45 with huge weekly loss.

Nifty Bank Index also opened the week at 24060 and made a high 24074 then, the weakness dragged down till 18675.65 on Thursday and bounced till 20924.55, ended the week with huge weekly loss by 19.27% i.e 4848.85 points at 20317.60.

The Indices were closed with a huge weekly loss are Nifty Realty lost -16.73%, Nifty Auto lost -13.13, Nifty Metal lost -11.16%, Nifty IT by -8.68%, Nifty Pharma by -4.35 and Nifty FMCG lost -1.05 None of the sector indices were closed with positive.
