Indian equity market ended on a negative bias, the benchmark broad based Index Nifty ended the week at 9039.25 with a loss by 1.07% i.e. 97.60 points and BSE Sensex closed the week with a loss by 1.37% i.e. 425.14 points at 30672.59. 

Nifty Index opened the week with a flat note at 9158 and got sold off, the weakness dragged down till 8806.75, took support at this level and moved again 9178 and closed the week at 9039.25 with a weekly loss.

Nifty Bank Index also opened the week on a flat note at 18795 and moved down till 17514, further it moved up till 18200, once again witnessed a sell-off on Friday till 17105 and closed the week with a weekly loss by 8.26% i.e. 1555.05 points at 17278.90.

The Sectoral Indices were closed with a weekly loss are Nifty Realty lost by 5.19% and Nifty Metal lost by 1.84%. At the same time,  the Nifty Pharma gained by 5.58%, Nifty IT gained by 4.90%, Nifty FMCG gained by 3.07% and Nifty Auto  gained marginally by 0.3.7%.
