Indian equity market ended on a negative bias, the benchmark broad based Index Nifty ended the week at 9154.40 with a loss by 1.21% i.e. 112.55 points and BSE Sensex closed the week with a loss by 0.83% i.e. 261 points at 31327.72. 

Nifty Index opened the week with a gap up near 9390 but unable to surpass 9390 and moved down till 8909.40, further it moved once again till 9340 and dragged down on Friday till 9141.30 and closed the week at 9154.40 with a weekly loss.

Nifty Bank Index also opened the week on a gap up near 21100 and made a high at 21122.10, the sell-off dragged till 19051.95, further it moved till 20356.50 and dragged down on Friday till 19515.40 and closed the week with a weekly loss by 5.29% i.e. 1094.80 points at 19586.65.

The Indices were closed with a weekly losses are Nifty Metal lost by 9.43%, Nifty Realty lost by 5.38%,  Nifty Auto lost by 5.14%, Nifty FMCG lost by 1.94% whereas Nifty Pharma gained 3.94% and Nifty IT Index gained by 1.32%.
