Indian equity market ended on a negative bias, the benchmark broad based Index Nifty ended the week at 8660.25 with a marginal loss by 0.97% i.e. 85.20 points and BSE Sensex closed the week with a loss by 0.34% i.e. 100.37 points at 29815.59. 

Nifty Index opened the week with a gap down near 7945 and made a weekly a low at 7511.10 thereafter, the technical pull back took the Nifty Index till 9038.90 on Friday and closed the week at 8660.25 with a marginal weekly loss.

Nifty Bank Index also opened the week with gap down at 18311 and made a weekly low 16116.5 then, the strong techcnical pull banck lifted the Nifty Bank Index till 21462.40 on Friday and ended the week with a loss marginal loss by 1.72% i.e 348.60 points at 19969.
