Indian equity market ended on a negative bias, the benchmark broad based Index Nifty ended the week at 11201.75 with a huge loss by 7.28% i.e. 879.10 points and BSE Sensex closed the week with a huge loss by 6.98% i.e. 2872.83 points at 38297.27 

Nifty Index opened the week near 12021 with a gap down and moved down thoroughout the week, especially the blood bath sell-off on Friday, pushed the Index till 11175 and ended the week at 11201.75.

Nifty Bank Index also opened the week near i.e. 30666 then, the weakness dragged down till 29051, the slide seen throuhgout the weak and closed with a huge weekly loos by 5.80% i.e 1448.37 points at 29147.15.

All other major Indices were closed with a huge weekly loss, some of the leading lossers are Nifty Metal Index lost -14.02%, Nifty Auto lost -10.31%, Nifty Pharma -9.42%, Nifty Realty -8.39%, Nifty IT lost -8.30% and the lowest loser was Nifty FMCG, it lost by -4.33%
