Indian equity market ended on a positive bias, the benchmark broad based Index Nifty ended the week at 9859.90 with a gain by 7.71 i.e. 705.50 points and BSE Sensex closed the week with a gain by 7.63% i.e. 2389.90 points at 33717.62. 

Nifty Index opened the week with a gap up near 9260 and moved up from Monday to Thursday till 9889.90 and closed the week at 9859.90 with a huge weekly gain.

Nifty Bank Index also opened the week on a gap up near 19871 and moved up every day, on Turudsay it tested till 21967 and closed the week with a huge weekly gain by 9.94% i.e. 1947.85 points at 21535.50.

The Sectoral Indices were closed with a weekly gain are Nifty IT gained by 10.08%, Nifty Auto gained by 9.75%, Nifty Realty gained by 5.40% and Nifty FMCG marginal up by 0.02% whereas Nifty Metal lost by 3.36% and Nifty Pharma lost 2.01%.
