What has happened on yesterday? Nifty Index as expected and written opened with a gap down at 10311.95, which was our support band i.e., 10310-10270-10245 thereafter, the sell -off continued till our further support level i.e 10220, made a day low at 10223.60, the volatility ruled the Index, finally on the last hour rally lifted the Index till our resistance level i.e., 10335, made a day high at 10337.95 and closed the Index at 10312.40 on a negative note.
What will happen today? Nifty Index may open on a flat to positive note, even a mild gap up by tracking the global indices to test 10335-10360 if open, trade and sustain above 10360 then, it may re-test 10390-10410-10448-10475-10510-10550-10660. On the other hand, the immediate support lies at 10300-10260, if trade and sustain below 10260 then, it may test 10220-10195-10170-10145-10110-10050-9970.
Special Mention: Yesterday, the Nifty Index sell-off not broken our support level i.e 10200 rather, it took support at 10220 and closed above 10260, but unable to close above 10330, today the Index try to surpass above 10330, if to do so, then it may re-test 10410-10550 once again in the near term, further move above 10550 and closes above this levels then, it may test 10660-10770-10970 levels. At the same time further weakness only when the Index breaks and closes below 10195-9970-9890 for three consecutive trading session then, it may test 9660-9500 levels in the near term, it looks the Index may consolidate between 10550-10000 levels for some more time. The volatility may be in raising mode today also since, month and quarterly end falls today, the Index try to close in a positive note today.
Trading Strategy: The Investor/trader may re-invest at 10000-9800 levels in the Nifty 50 stocks for a short term gain around 5-10%. This is a traders market, to trade for short term gains, rather to wait for long term basis.
