What has happened yesterday? Nifty Index, as written and expected, opened on a positive note at 18500.10, our expected opening band i.e.,18390-18415-18440, on opening move, the Index made a day low 18445.30 thereafter, the Index moved up and made a day high 18543.15, further the last hour down move dragged the Index near day low and closed at 18477.05 on a positive note with an intra gain 138.50 points i.e., 0.76%.

What will happen today? Nifty Index may open on a positive note near 18535-18575 if open, trade and sustain above 18575 then, the Index may try to test 18605-18630-18660-18700-18745 levels. On the other hand, the immediate support lies at 18510-18470, if the Index moves below 18470 then, it may re-visit 18440-18415-18380-18350-18310-18280-18250 levels.

Special Mention: Yesterday, the Index conitnued the northward journey, made a fresh all time high 18543.15 and closed well above 18440, today the Index must trade above 18540-18575, if the Index moves above 18575 levels then, it may test 18660-18780 levels in the near term. On the other hand if, the Index fails to move above 18540-18575 and moves below 18440-18400 levels then, the weakness cum sell-off, may drag the Index to re-visit 18350-18250-18050 levels in the near term. Let see, how the Index opens today at 18535-18575 levels. The minor technical sell-off till 18350-18250 possible this week, trade with due caution at the higher levels and avoid agressive short or long positions and adopt buy on dips strategy.

Trading Strategy: The followers/readers, who invested last week try to book profit, if the Nifty Index not moves above 18575-18660-18780 or if, the stocks, which you have bought gives 15-20% profit and stay invested on dips near 18200-17950 levels.
